Job Description
As a Network Engineer you will be required to work closely with the customers from various verticals. You will be responsible for various tasks including implementation, configuration and support of devices and providing operational technical support to the customer.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Should be able to monitor ISP link and troubleshoot when unavailable
- Communicate with service provider for internet issues / MPLS commissioning
- Backup network devices periodically
- Conversant with user management to add / delete VPN users in firewall
- Configure and manage firewall security
- Ability to furnish required information from Network Monitoring applications like Manage Engine and SolarWinds
- Resolve end user issues related to wireless and networking
- Collaborate with different teams for issue troubleshooting and change management
- Creating monthly reports, highlighting areas of concern, providing suggestions, resolving and closing issues
Requirement
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Knowledge on routing and switching
- Basic knowledge on firewall functionality
- Basic knowledge on wireless technology
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts
- SOC experience would be a plus
